Makes sense for Twitter to be available in a multitude of languages since 60% of it's users live outside the United States!

Twitter Plans on European Hires in 2011: "Twitter revealed earlier this year that more than 60% of its users live outside the U.S. The site is now available in a variety of languages, including Spanish, French, Italian and German."
